Richie and Eddie find themselves running the most run-down hotel in the UK, Guest House Paradiso, located next to a nuclear power plant. The chef, an illegal immigrant, disappears and all the guests check out, leaving the pair in a tight spot. However, their luck changes when Gina Carbonara, a well-known Italian filmstar trying to escape a unwanted engagement, seeks refuge at the hotel.
