神的孩子全跳舞/神的孩子都在跳舞

村上春树的短篇小说《AllGodsChildrenCanDance/神的孩子都在跳舞》被Scott Coffey改编为同名英语电影，导演是Robert Logevall。电影中，Jason Lew扮演Kengo（即书中的善也），而陈冲饰演母亲。这是又一部成功改编村上春树小说的电影。故事讲述Kengo一直相信自己是神的孩子，上帝是他的父亲。直到一天，Kengo偶然看到可能是自己生父的独耳男子，于是跟踪他穿越荒凉的城市。Kengo在这个旅程中，见到了心底孤寂的爵士乐、昏黄的小酒馆，洛杉矶像是转化为书中忧郁的东京，尽管时间随着洗礼淡化了灵魂上的伤痕，但人们仍旧只能与孤独共舞。然而，影评人从CineVegas Film Festival上看完此片后，对它的评论却一文不值。"Dance to the tune of loneliness in All Gods Children Can Dance: a melancholic portrayal of a mans search for his identity intertwined with the delicate threads of jazz music and desolate cityscapes.
