Amazon rainforest, 1538. King Carlos V de España y I de Alemania dispatches a team of Spanish soldiers to the newly discovered continent in search of Teziutlan, a legendary city rumored to be filled with gold, in order to expand the reach of the Spanish Empire. Stranded in the dense rainforest without support, the soldiers encounter not only hostile indigenous tribes but also grapple with their own deep-rooted animosities based on their origins.
